Welcome to Camp Moonflower, a program operated by Alternative Recreational Therapy LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, registration process, and participation in any programs, camps, or services operated under the Camp Moonflower name. By accessing our website or registering for our programs, you agree to these Terms in full.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our site or register for our services.
1. Services and Eligibility
Camp Moonflower provides recreational and educational programs for youth ages 12–17. Participation is subject to successful registration, payment, and acceptance by Camp Moonflower staff.
We reserve the right to:
Modify, suspend, or discontinue any camp session or activity without prior notice.
Refuse service or registration to any individual at our discretion if behavior, safety, or eligibility standards are not met.
2. Payments and Refunds
All fees, deposits, and payment deadlines are listed on the Registration Page.
A $300 deposit is required to reserve your camper’s spot and is non-refundable.
Full tuition is due before camp begins unless an installment plan has been approved in writing.
Refunds follow our Payment, Refund, and Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
We accept payments via credit or debit card through our secure online processor (GoDaddy Payments) or fee-free via Zelle. Customers are responsible for any transaction fees associated with electronic payments.
3. Withdrawals and Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any camp session due to safety, weather, staffing, or facility-related concerns.
If Camp Moonflower cancels a session, you may choose a full refund or a credit toward a future camp session.
Participants who withdraw or fail to attend are subject to the refund schedule listed in our policy.
4. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
Participation in camp activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or property loss.
By registering, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all such risks and agree to release and hold harmless Camp Moonflower and Alternative Recreational Therapy LLC, including their owners, staff, contractors, and affiliates, from any claims or damages arising from participation to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Camp Moonflower does not provide health or accident insurance. It is the responsibility of each participant’s parent or guardian to maintain appropriate coverage.
5. Medical Authorization
In case of emergency, you authorize Camp Moonflower staff, operating under Alternative Recreational Therapy LLC, to seek medical treatment from licensed providers if you cannot be reached. You agree to bear all associated costs and release Camp Moonflower and its representatives from liability for good-faith decisions made in seeking such care.
6. Conduct and Behavior
Camp Moonflower promotes a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment.
The following are strictly prohibited and may result in dismissal without refund:
Bullying, harassment, or discriminatory behavior
Use or possession of drugs, alcohol, or weapons
Inappropriate or unsafe conduct
Campers and parents must follow all camp rules, staff directions, and behavioral guidelines.
7. Intellectual Property and Copyright
All website content, materials, designs, logos, and written content are the property of Camp Moonflower / Alternative Recreational Therapy LLC and are protected by copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use our materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Any photos or videos taken during camp may be used for promotional or educational purposes unless you opt out in writing prior to the start of camp.
8. Website Use
We strive to provide accurate and updated information. However, we make no guarantee that all content is error-free or that the website will operate without interruption.
We are not liable for:
Errors or omissions in website content
Loss or damages due to downtime, cyber issues, or third-party links
Users agree not to:
Post or share unlawful, defamatory, or harmful content
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the website
Use our platform for spam, self-promotion, or solicitation
We may disable access or terminate use for anyone who violates these terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any disputes shall be handled through binding arbitration in Santa Cruz County, unless otherwise required by law. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action against Camp Moonflower or Alternative Recreational Therapy LLC.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted to this page, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Camp Moonflower Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy

A $300 deposit is required to secure your camper’s registration. This deposit is nonrefundable.
Refund Schedule:
60+ days before camp start: Refund of tuition paid, less $300 deposit.
30–59 days before camp start: 50% refund of tuition paid (deposit nonrefundable).
<30 days before camp start: No refund.
No-shows, expulsion, or early departures: No refund.
If Camp Moonflower cancels a session for any reason (such as natural disasters, facility closures, or safety concerns), all tuition and deposits will be refunded in full or credited toward the following summer’s tuition.
Payments can be made via GoDaddy Payments (credit/debit card) or Zelle (fee-free option). Transaction fees for card payments (up to 2.9% + $0.30) are the responsibility of the customer.

Camp Moonflower Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy
A $300 deposit is required to secure your camper’s registration. This deposit is nonrefundable.
Cancellations made 60 or more days before the camp start date: Eligible for a refund of tuition paid, less the $300 deposit.
Cancellations made 30–59 days before camp start: 50% refund of tuition paid (deposit nonrefundable).
Cancellations made less than 30 days before camp start: No refund.
No-shows, camp expulsion, or early departures: No refund.
In the event Camp Moonflower cancels a session for any reason (such as natural disasters, facility closures, or safety concerns), all tuition and deposits will be refunded in full or credited toward the following summer’s tuition.
Camp tuition must be paid in full prior to the beginning of camp.
Payments can be made via credit card electronically at www.campmoonflower.com
Patrons choosing to utilize the online credit card payment option will absorb the cost of the transaction, up to 2.9% plus $0.30.
