Absolutely!
Not only are campers served delicious meals every day, but they also participate in hands on cooking activities, designed to make them comfortable exploring new food options.
We’ll provide a full packing list after registration, but essentials include comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, a reusable water bottle, and sunscreen. ..
All staff are trained in first aid and emergency procedures; as well as a registered nurse or LVN living on site. Camp Moonflower follows strict medication and allergy protocols.
Campers stay in modern, air-conditioned rooms (depending on location), with a 1:4, couselor:camper ratio.
Drop-off: Monday - ALL DAY
Pick-up: Sunday - ALL DAY
Due to the short duration of Camp Moonflower, we do not host an official parents visiting day. We will provide opportunities for video chatting between family members, and ample opportunities to alleviate home sickness. This summer experience should be viewed as a break for the camper, a time for them to dedicate energy to discovering themselves.
At Camp Moonflower, every adventure is designed with intention. Our programs meet each camper where she is — emotionally, socially, physically, and creatively — ensuring that every participant feels valued, supported, and free to express herself.
We proudly welcome campers of all abilities, including those who benefit from the assistance of a 1:1 aide. To promote full inclusion, aides’ tuition is waived during their time at camp. This allows families to focus on their camper’s growth and experience without added financial stress, while ensuring that every child receives the individualized support they need to thrive.
Our staff receives specialized training in inclusive recreation, communication strategies, and behavioral support to help create a camp environment where every girl feels safe, capable, and included. From guided group challenges that build teamwork to creative projects that nurture reflection and self-expression, every program is designed to spark confidence, connection, and joy.
At Camp Moonflower, inclusion isn’t an option — it’s part of who we are. Campers leave with stronger friendships, greater confidence, and a deeper sense of belonging, blooming brightly in their own light.
