At Camp Moonflower, we believe every young person deserves a place to breathe, belong, and bloom — free from the pressures of the outside world. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and empowering space where girls ages 12–17 can step away from the noise of social media, societal expectations, and the weight of a world that often feels too heavy.
Here, campers reconnect with the simplicity of nature, the joy of movement, and the power of community. Through outdoor adventure, creative expression, and meaningful conversations, they rediscover their confidence, voice, and sense of purpose.
We celebrate diversity and inclusion — welcoming campers of all abilities, backgrounds, and identities. Every activity, challenge, and group experience is designed to meet campers where they are emotionally, socially, and creatively, helping them build self-awareness, resilience, and authentic connection.
We teach more than camp skills — we teach life skills: teamwork, empathy, leadership, and mindfulness. We encourage campers to explore who they are beyond labels, expectations, and limitations — to evolve freely, and to feel at home in their own light.
Our goal is simple but powerful: to help each camper leave with a stronger sense of self, a supportive circle of friends, and the belief that she can face the world — confident, capable, and blooming brightly in her own way.
Growth happens when curiosity meets opportunity. We blend recreation, creativity, and mentorship to help each camper discover her strengths, embrace her individuality, and feel confident in who she is becoming.

Growth happens when curiosity meets opportunity. We blend recreation, creativity, and mentorship to help each camper discover her strengths, embrace her individuality, and feel confident in who she is becoming.
Every moment at camp — from morning hikes and team challenges to afternoon workshops and evening performances — is intentionally designed to inspire growth, connection, and confidence. Campers learn to collaborate, communicate, and lead through experiences that are as joyful as they are meaningful.
Our philosophy centers on the idea that camp is a mirror of life — a place to practice resilience, try new things, and build the courage to evolve. Through laughter, reflection, and authentic connection, campers realize that they already have everything they need to thrive.
At Camp Moonflower, we don’t just create memories — we cultivate confidence, creativity, and community that lasts long after the summer ends

Camp Moonflower was created by Adriana Rivera, a Certified Recreational Therapist, and Behavior Interventionist with over 15 years of experience in youth development, coaching, and inclusive recreation. Her vision was to design a space where teens could grow in confidence, community, and joy — away from social media and societal pressures, surrounded by nature and creativity.
“As our team grows, each staff member will bring unique talents to our mission — from outdoor educators to creative mentors — all united by the belief that every camper deserves to bloom in her own light.” - Adriana Rivera, Director/Founder
